5 day Yoga and Wellbeing Course
About the Course:
This course is for those who have a desire & curiosity to find out how Yoga can become a way of life, more than something you ‘do’ once a week. We will explore how you can take yoga off your mat and make it part of your everyday. Learning to live with more resilience, compassion and connection to life.
This year we are offering the course as 3 or 5 days, join us for the whole course or come along for 3 days. If you can we encourage you to attend all the days to get the most out of it.
Course structure
This course offers a Sunday style retreat days - come along to move, learn, be still and grow.
On this course we will explore;
Breath work - how to breathe effectively - to manage stress, anxiety and mood. How different practices influence our state - leading to greater awareness and choice.
Movement - embrace your body and learn how to work with it rather than against it both on and off your mat. Yoga is so much more than shapes on mats!
Yoga philosophy - Patanjali's yoga sutras - learn the art of compassion, patience, acceptance, gratitude - qualities at the heart of yoga.
Cultivating awareness - Understand the benefits of meditation, mindfulness, concentration, mantra. Find a practice that works for you.
Stillness - whether you love to be still or find it a challenge, we will explore a range of practices to explore being.
A Typical Sunday;
Mornings - will be spent experiencing yoga asana, mindfulness, Kriyas (cleansing practices) and breath work.
Afternoons - dedicated to group work, exploring a variety of mind body approaches including: yoga philosophy, neuroscience, physiology, positive psychology, life coaching, family constellations, Internal family systems.

We will warmly welcome anyone who has a desire to deepen their yoga practice, with a focus on understanding and experiencing how yoga can support your health and wellbeing.
Perhaps you have had a break from yoga, recovering from an injury or illness, or want more tools to manage stress, worry, mood, boost energy & focus in life. Ideally you will have some yoga experience.
Experience the magic of yoga & how it can enhance your wellbeing and experience of life.
About the Teachers:
Josie and Katie are both senior teachers - 800 hour qualified & certified Hatha Yoga teachers - registered with IYN.
Josie combines her skills and knowledge of Mind-body Therapy and Mental Health Nursing. She is passionate about bringing this combination into her teaching to help others find tools to feel more resilient, present and empowered. To live life with more ease.
Katie is an experienced Health & Wellbeing Coach who works with both individuals and businesses. Coming from a corporate background, Katie knows all too well the physical and emotional impact of workplace stress and the struggle to balance this with our personal lives.

Duration: 3 - 5 Sundays 2022 /23
Dates: 2022- 2nd October, 6th November, 4th December, 2023 - 8th January, 5th February.

FULL 5 days - Pay in full - £325.00 or £340 - pay in instalments.
3 days - £210 - pay in full or instalments.
